Living Alone or with Parents
Young adult has an opportunity to live alone or with his or her parents. Besides some similarities, both variants have their own differences in many ways like independence, financial and mental support.
First of all, when you live alone, you have more freedom. You don’t have to do what your parents say. You don’t have to listen to the views of the members of your family. For example, when you live with your family, you aren’t allowed to walk till late night, but when you live alone, you can go out overnight and you won’t be punished. Second difference is a financial issue. You have to pay for telephone, electricity and other taxes if you live alone. Living with parents, you can share these expenses with all members of your family or even your parents can be responsible for this. Finally, the main problem for people who choose where to live and with whom is a mental issue. People are different, but everyone needs someone to trust and rely on. For example, living your parents, you always know they are waiting for you at home. They are ready to help you anytime, find decision. Other words, you can share your emotions. Living alone, you have to keep everything inside and take care of your business.
To conclude, living alone or with parents are different in financial, emotional and independent issues. Anyway, this problem is everybody’s business which depends on age, wants, opportunities and many other things.
P.S. it was really interesting to give examples why living alone is cool. Now we are used to be with parents and can’t face with problems. I think, we should be more responsible and independent.
